Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Maryland Heights, MO is seeking a Logistics Supervisor for our Supply Chain Solutions division. You will supervise daily logistics operations, coordinate staff, and implement process improvements to meet service standards.

The role is exempt with a $60,000 annual salary, benefit package including medical/dental/vision and 401(k), and a Monday–Friday schedule with potential for extra hours as needed.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• 1+ year supervisory/leadership experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution.
• DOT regulated.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and oversee day to day logistics operations.
• Plan and review logistics processes with the Logistics Manager to meet company standards.
• Establish work schedules and coordinate activities to ensure optimal shift logistics.
• Be accountable for site KPI and monitor progress toward objectives.
• Lead and coach team members, provide training and evaluate performance.
• Maintain positive labor relations and enforce health and safety policies.
• Provide orientation and ensure staff have necessary resources.
