Job summary

Rehlko in Hattiesburg, Mississippi is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee all material handling in the Hattiesburg Home Energy operations. You will supervise operators and leads, coordinate inbound and outbound movement, and ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts.

This onsite role requires leadership, strong decision-making, and proficiency with MS Office. You will train staff on Powered Industrial Vehicles and analyze inventory data to prevent errors, while collaborating with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associates degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a people leadership role.
• Minimum 3 years in Supply Chain.
• Must be able to lead a team in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of Operators, Logistics Leads, Group Leads, and/or Cycle Counters in the Supply Chain area.
• Coordinate movement of inbound and outbound material to ensure smooth flow; administer all company policies and procedures.
• Train staff for Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV) and ensure licenses are current.
• Assign physical counting of parts; analyze data and take corrective action for errors; adjust inventory and report to management.
• Audit bills of materials and collaborate with scheduling/engineering to correct errors; assist with excess and obsolete material analysis.
• Provide backup support to purchasing, scheduling and shipping; maintain frequent contact with other areas of the Supply Chain team.

The Logistics Supervisor supervises, directs and coordinates all material handling functions for the Hattiesburg Home Energy operations. Responsible for the coordination of the Generator cycle count program and provides in-depth analysis and corrective action for all issues affecting inventory accuracy.

This position will require onsite work at our Hattiesburg, Mississippi location.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Supervisor responsibility for Operators, Logistics Leads, Group Leads, and/or Cycle Counters in respective Supply Chain area
• Directly supervises and assigns work to material handling employees on the production floor. Coordinates movement of inbound and outbound material to ensure a smooth flow of material. Administers all company policies and procedures.
• Trainer at Hattiesburg for all individuals required to operate Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV). Ensure that all employees operating PIVs possess current and correct licenses.
• Assigning the physical counting of parts and providing analysis and corrective action for errors as required. Adjust inventory and provide reports to management.
• Audit bills of material and work with scheduling/engineering to correct errors.
• Assist with identifying and providing analysis of excess and obsolete material.
• Provide backup support to purchasing, scheduling and shipping.
• Frequent contact with other areas of Supply Chain team
• Frequent contact with Operations, Engineering, and Quality

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Associates degree in related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a people leadership role
• Minimum of 3 years in Supply Chain
• Must be able to make sound decisions, be a self-starter and able to lead a team in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
• Proficiency required in all MS Office products

The Salary range for this position is $69,800.00-$87,950.00.The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
