Job summary

AGS is seeking a Logistics Supervisor for our North Las Vegas facility. The role leads the logistics team, oversees cross dock operations, and manages carrier relationships to improve freight cost, transit time, and on-time delivery. Occasional international shipments support is included.

Requires 5+ years in logistics, hands-on trucking experience, ERP familiarity (Oracle/SAP/MS Dynamics), and hazmat certification within 90 days of hire. Background check and drug screen apply.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of logistics experience with at least 1–2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Hands-on domestic trucking experience (FTL, LTL, dedicated) with cost analysis.
• Cross dock, distribution, or trans-load experience preferred.
• ERP experience (Oracle, SAP, MS Dynamics); TMS or WMS a plus.
• DG DOT and IATA hazmat certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily cross dock and western region logistics activity with Las Vegas warehouse coordination.
• Leads launch and daily operation of Las Vegas cross dock; inbound scheduling, receiving, staging, outbound dispatch.
• Plans cost-efficient regional delivery to CA, northern Nevada, and AZ.
• Consolidates outbound loads by destination to maximize trailer utilization and minimize dwell time.
• Selects carriers/modes, negotiates rates, builds routes meeting delivery windows.
• Evaluates carrier performance and recommends changes.
• Maintains serial-number inventory accuracy and chain of custody from receipt to delivery.
• Ensures DOT/FMCSA, hours-of-service, hazmat, and gaming device shipping compliance.
• Leads continuous improvement to reduce cost and improve accuracy.
• Supports occasional international export shipments and documentation.

The Logistics Supervisor oversees domestic freight and cross dock operations at our North Las Vegas facility, with a primary focus on trucking of gaming equipment. The role leads the logistics team, manages carrier relationships, and drives improvement in freight cost, transit time, damage prevention, and on-time delivery. Support of occasional international shipments is secondary.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily cross dock and western region logistics activity and coordinates with the Las Vegas warehouse team.
• Leads the launch and daily operation of the Las Vegas cross dock: inbound scheduling, receiving, staging, and outbound dispatch of slot machines.
• Plans and executes cost-efficient regional delivery to customers in California, northern Nevada, and Arizona.
• Consolidates and sequences outbound loads by destination to maximize trailer utilization and minimize dwell time and cost per machine delivered.
• Selects carriers and modes (FTL, LTL, dedicated, expedited), negotiates rates, and builds routes that meet customer delivery windows.
• Evaluates carrier performance (on-time delivery, damage, claims) and recommends changes.
• Maintains serial-number inventory accuracy and chain of custody from receipt to delivery, including seal, inspection, and proof-of-delivery requirements.
• Ensures compliance with DOT, FMCSA, hours-of-service, hazmat, and applicable federal and state gaming device shipping regulations.
• Leads continuous improvement to reduce cost and improve accuracy.
• Supports occasional international export shipments and documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of logistics experience, including 1 to 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Hands-on domestic trucking experience (FTL, LTL, dedicated): carrier selection, rate negotiation, routing, and cost analysis.
• Cross dock, distribution, or trans-load experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of DOT/FMCSA rules, hours of service, bills of lading, and freight claims.
• Hands-on ERP experience (Oracle, SAP, or MS Dynamics); TMS or WMS experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with export documentation and customs processes is a plus.
• DG DOT and IATA hazmat certification required within 90 days of hire if not currently held.
