Job summary

AGS - American Gaming Systems in North Las Vegas is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee domestic freight and cross dock operations, lead the logistics team, manage carrier relationships, and drive improvements in freight cost, transit time, and on-time delivery. Occasional international shipments may arise.

The role requires 5+ years in logistics with 1–2 years in leadership, hands-on trucking experience, ERP proficiency, and knowledge of DOT/FMCSA rules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of logistics experience including 1–2 years in a lead role.
• Hands-on domestic trucking experience (FTL, LTL, dedicated) including carrier selection and cost analysis.
• Cross dock, distribution, or trans-load experience preferred.
• Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA rules, hours of service, bills of lading, and freight claims.
• DG DOT and IATA hazmat certification required within 90 days of hire if not currently held.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cross dock and western region logistics activity with Las Vegas warehouse team.
• Launch and operate Las Vegas cross dock inbound scheduling, receiving, staging, and outbound dispatch of slot machines.
• Plan and execute cost-efficient regional delivery to customers in California, northern Nevada, and Arizona.
• Consolidate outbound loads by destination to maximize trailer utilization and minimize dwell time and cost per machine delivered.
• Select carriers and modes (FTL, LTL, dedicated, expedited), negotiate rates, and meet customer delivery windows.
• Evaluate carrier performance (on-time delivery, damage, claims) and recommend changes.
• Maintain serial-number inventory accuracy and chain of custody from receipt to delivery, including seal, inspection, and proof-of-delivery requirements.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, hours-of-service, hazmat, and applicable regulations.
• Lead continuous improvement to reduce cost and improve accuracy.
• Supports occasional international export shipments and documentation.
