Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will lead and train associates to ensure safe work practices, accurate inventory transactions, and timely material flow that supports production and customer delivery requirements. You will partner with Production, Customer Service, and Accounting to coordinate priorities, maintain inventory controls, and ensure shipments meet company policies and applicable requirements. You will drive continuous improvement through Lean practices that improve productivity, accuracy, and cost while maintaining a safe, secure, and organized work environment. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Team leadership and development:** Lead shipping, receiving, stockroom, and material-handling associates; align staffing with daily priorities; and provide onboarding and ongoing training to support quality, productivity, engagement, and customer service.* **Safety and workplace organization:** Promote safe work practices and maintain secure, organized warehouse, stockroom, and dock areas, including effective layouts, storage capacity, and material identification and accessibility.* **Daily logistics execution:** Coordinate inbound deliveries, outbound shipments, and internal material flow to support production priorities and customer requirements, including material preservation, issuance, and redistribution of goods returned from outside services.* **Inventory accuracy and control:** Maintain effective controls over inventory movement and transactions, establish incoming and outgoing shipment verification procedures, and partner with Accounting on cycle counts.
