Job summary

H.B. Fuller is hiring a Strategic Sourcing Category Lead – Logistics to drive end-to-end sourcing for NA logistics. You will develop category strategies, run competitive bid events, and negotiate supplier agreements while collaborating with Supply Chain, Operations and Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, logistics, or supply chain.
• Experience leading or supporting RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, supplier negotiations, and sourcing projects.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Experience with ERP systems or procurement platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing and category management for assigned Logistics categories.
• Develop and execute category strategies that improve cost, service, supplier performance, and business continuity.
• Manage end-to-end sourcing events, including RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract awards.
• Build strong supplier relationships and drive performance through ongoing collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Manufacturing to align sourcing strategies with business needs.
• Analyze spend, market trends, and supplier performance to identify savings opportunities and mitigate risk.
• Present sourcing recommendations and market insights to key stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen procurement processes and category performance.
