Job summary

THOR Solutions, LLC is seeking an Integrated Logistics Specialist to support the USCG Waterways Commerce Cutter Project Resident Office in Bayou La Batre, AL. The role will help oversee logistics contracts, review shipbuilder deliverables, and ensure compliance with WCC production contracts and USCG policy.

A high school diploma is required, with a technical diploma or degree preferred. Candidates should have at least three years’ experience in integrated logistics support for ship construction,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Technical diploma / Associate or Bachelor degree in a relevant field preferred
• 3+ years of integrated logistics support experience for ship construction
• Knowledge of ship construction and associated processes
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Manage and review integrated logistics contract data line item (CDRLs) procedures
• Review shipbuilder deliverables and assess compliance with WCC contract and USCG policy
• Review technical manuals and publications for WCC systems and components
• Support planning and participating in physical configuration audits of WCC vessels
• Assess impacts of proposed configuration/engineering decisions on logistics during life-cycle
• Assist with material loadout evolutions and Government Furnished Material tracking
• Aid in acquisition, receipt, and disbursement of initial outfitting items for cutters
