Job summary

Cinterra in Farmville, VA is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join the project team and support laydown yard operations. You will work with the Logistics Manager to execute the daily plan, handle material receipts, perform quality checks, and ensure safe, efficient storage and movement of materials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• 1–2 years of stock or inventory experience preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift or pallet jack.
• OSHA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prove delivery of material by reconciling actual material received and packing lists with purchase orders.
• Ensure material is stored in an orderly manner and can be pulled for shipments efficiently.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move materials.
• Track internal movement of material and communicate variances to MM lead.
• Attach BOLs/packing lists to pallets and packages for shipment.
• Perform periodic inventory counts and reconcile variances.
• Follow SOPs to ensure safe laydown yard operations.
