-Job Type: Contractor

-Hire Date: Immediate

-Per diem: We offer the highest non-taxable per diem in the market (including on overtime).

-Hours: Overtime is available.

-Tools: Toolbox and tools required.

SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, the Logistics Specialist proactively supports operations and customer support activities in their assigned areas. They identify critical items before they impact the completion of production and maintenance schedules and provide customer support within the Supply Chain group.

Operation Support Representative Responsibilities:
  • Issue kits, parts, and tools from the counter or to the production floor.
  • Perform daily transfers of parts from internal jobs for shop support.
  • Inspect flammable cabinets and partial racks for expired shelf-life items.
  • Conduct internal inspections of stores and warehouses in preparation for live audits.
  • Pull in-house requisitions to fulfill production demands.
  • Store and organize recapped BFG parts and materials.
  • Retrieve off-unit items from production, inspect, and route to the warehouse.
  • Process incoming outside service parts, work orders, and paperwork.
  • Return parts and tools at the counter and reshelve them.
  • Run ERP In-Transit reports to verify issued items.
  • Prepare outside service shipments.
  • Attend daily operation meetings and address material-related questions.
  • Meet with onsite customers to communicate open demand requirements.
  • Track and report daily material status of incoming parts.
  • Update Gateway material reports.
  • Research and communicate purchasing request feedback with operations.
  • Transport critically hot parts from other site locations as required.
  • Perform Logistic AOG vehicle runs upon immediate request from production.
  • Monitor email requests from internal departments.
  • Respond to daily inquiries from production regarding parts, tooling, and chemicals.
  • Maintain up-to-date training on the company's Plateau platform.
