Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Specialist – Matting Solutions to lead the customer experience from quote to final billing, estimating costs related to materials and transportation for crane mat sales and support.

The Matting Solutions team, formerly YAK ACCESS, operates as part of United Rentals North America’s leading equipment rental provider. This role requires coordinating project lifecycle, logistics, and procurement to deliver cost-efficient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is desirable.
• 5 years’ experience in Estimating/Project Management.
• Ability to prioritize, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Strong understanding of all Project Management and Lean construction methodologies and principles.
• Knowledge of methods, materials, equipment, and safety hazards of construction projects.
• Ability to coordinate large construction projects and monitor the work of contractors.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and Project and B2W software is a plus.
