The primary role of the Logistics Specialist (LS) involves loading and unloading tires for warehouse storage and/or customer delivery, including staging products at customer locations. The LS must represent TireHub professionally, maintain safe driving practices, deliver excellent customer service, and foster strong relationships.

Starting wage of $20.15/hr., with increases after 90 days, 180 days, and 1 year of tenure.

Schedule: Monday through Saturday with fluctuating day shift hours.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Distribute tasks including general warehousing, delivery services, and vehicle maintenance, adjusting as needed.
• Load, unload, inspect, and tally tires on transport vehicles.
• Follow safety standards in packing, labeling, and palletizing orders.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks safely.
• Participate in inventory cycle counts and labeling.
• Handle customer payments for COD transactions.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report mechanical issues.
• Complete vehicle maintenance logs and safety inspections daily.
• Ensure compliance with TireHub policies and participate in ongoing training.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
• Core skills include: Continuous process improvement, managing ambiguity, driving results, collaboration, and effective communication.

Minimum requirements:

• At least 1 year of general work experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years driving history.
• Age 19 or older.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift, pull, push, and move tires up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent bending, twisting, and lifting.
• Multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Accurately load/unload tires and work up to 35 feet above ground.
• Operate forklifts and drive TireHub vehicles safely.
• Familiarity with GPS and navigation systems.
• Maintain forklift certification and a valid driver’s license.

Working Conditions:

• Physically demanding tasks including lifting and moving tires.
• Potential handling of hazardous materials and use of protective equipment.
• Work may occur in various environments, including warehouses and customer sites.
• Extended hours, including nights and weekends, with short notice.
