Job summary

RXO in Kent, WA is seeking a Logistics Specialist to provide essential support, including order entry, routing and dispatching, and traffic coordination.

You will monitor loads, update account managers and customers, verify deliveries for timeliness and condition, and handle driver communications with careful data validation for accounting accuracy.

Qualifications

• 1 year of logistics experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• General knowledge of the transportation industry.
• Experience writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to apply common sense and carry out written or verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders.
• Update account managers on problem loads and actions taken; update receivers and customers on status.
• Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries; verify loads arrived on time and in good condition.
• Take check calls from drivers; validate load data prior to marking loads delivered for accounting.
• Investigate overages, shortages, damages, and complete documentation.
• Schedule the delivery appointments for all loads; accept/decline loads per directions from managers.
• Provide clear directions to route drivers.

If you’re looking for a growth opportunity, join us at RXO.What your day-to-day will look like:Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tendersUpdate account managers on problem loads and what actions have been taken, update receivers and customers on status of loadsMonitor daily pick-ups and deliveries; verify that loads have arrived on time and in good conditionTake check calls from drivers, ensuring that loads will deliver on time; validate all load data prior to marking loads delivered, for accounting purposesInvestigate product overages, shortages, damages, and complete appropriate documentationSchedule and reschedule delivery appointments for all loads; accept or decline loads based on direction from account managersProvide detailed directions and instructions to properly route driversAt a minimum, you’ll need:1 year of logistics experienceIt’d be great if you also have:High school diploma or equivalentGeneral knowledge of the transportation industryExperience writing routine reports and correspondenceThe ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram formDoes this sound like you?
