Job summary

People Technology And Processes in Newport, Rhode Island, seeks a Logistician III to provide logistics coordination, analysis, and customer service support for PAS operations at NUWCDIVNPT warehouses, supporting Navy ERP for SUBSAFE/LEVEL I/DSS-SOC material management.

Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting materials, processing receipts in Navy ERP, maintaining documentation, generating delivery manifests, coordinating storage, and supporting inventory counts and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• 7 years of professional experience in integrated logistics support.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process materials; verify part numbers, count, and condition against Navy ERP purchase orders.
• Process receipts by material type in Navy ERP (MILSTRIP, Classified/COMSEC, GPC/Contract).
• Document damaged or nonconforming materials; prepare TDRs, SDRs, PQDRs.
• Maintain open orders, bills of lading, WMFs; research unidentified received materials.
• Complete Navy ERP induction, WMFs, and related forms (DD-250, DD-1348, DD-1149).
• Generate daily delivery manifests and coordinate storage operations per Government Location Schema.
• Support warehouse maintenance, COSIS, and material disposition; track losses and hazards.
• Prepare quarterly reports with process improvement recommendations.
