About The Role

Be a part of a team that assists and supports transportation management for multiple Fortune 500 companies. Opportunity to implement and improve processes, drive efficiencies, and create positive financial impact on the customer's business. The Logistics Specialist III will be accountable for creating and maintaining carrier relationships with consistent and professional communications. This position will work a hybrid schedule onsite in the Exton, PA Center of Excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain carrier service and cost expectations
  • Document and execute customer’s standard operating procedures
  • Leverage knowledge of equipment, markets, and shipment requirements
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with carriers to meet customer expectations
  • Negotiate carrier rates for new and existing business
  • Manage KPIs, identify trends, and recommend actions for improvement
  • Act as intermediary in problem resolution between accounts and carriers
  • Maintain effective relationships with shippers and receivers through professional and timely communication
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2-3 years of transportation/logistics/supply chain experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • College degree
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and/or Google tools
