Job summary

Hospital to Home LLC in Virginia Beach is seeking a Logistics Specialist II to support forecast planning and the handling of controlled medications. You will assist with day‑to‑day operations, stock management, and training of newer Specialists.

Responsibilities include stocking units, tracking shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and using logistics systems. An EMT credential and 2+ years in logistics are required, with a valid driver’s license and MS 365 skills.

Qualifications

Virginia EMT certification or higher required.
2 years of experience in logistics, supply, or inventory role.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Perform duties of Logistics Specialist, including stocking units and facilities, vehicle inspections, and documenting shipments.
Forecast supply and equipment needs based on usage trends and demand to prevent shortages.
Stock, receive, store, track, and document medications and controlled substances per policy and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate inventory and usage records for controlled and non‑controlled supplies.
Monitor par levels and expiration dates; rotate stock to minimize waste.
Operate systems that provide logistic support information for inventory and accounting.
Ensure security of restricted supplies per procedures; provide guidance to junior Specialists.
