Logistics Specialist II

Are you looking for an opportunity to use your inventory and supply chain skills in a variety of specialty areas? Come join us! As a Logistics Specialist II, you will take on a more advanced role in coordinating and managing logistics activities. You will oversee the preparation, documentation, and routing of materials, ensuring compliance with all regulations. Your expertise will be critical in optimizing logistics processes and maintaining accurate records.

The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. Responsibilities

Qualifications - You Must Have
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of state, federal, and global regulations related to logistics.
  • Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
  • Basic understanding of Inventory and Supply Chain/Logistics principles and techniques.
  • Experience with inventory databases.
Qualifications - We Prefer
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in logistics software and tools.
  • Familiarity with AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systems
  • HazMat Training/Certification.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.
  • Experience with shipping databases, such as FedEx, DHL, UPS.
  • Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and clean driving record.
  • Understanding of shelf life.
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military.
Essential Functions
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
  • Ability to work on your feet for a majority of the work shift.
  • Ability to work in a loud environment.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
