Responsibilities

• Receiving focus: receive incoming shipments of raw materials and supplies; safely load/unload, sort, scan, and stock receivables; inspect items for damage or defects; sample inbound raw chemicals.
• Shipping focus: use computer programs to ship items timely and accurately; follow shipping instructions and prepare outgoing shipments with secure packaging and labeling.
• Monitor shipping activities for accuracy and timeliness; coordinate with other departments; maintain inventory records; ensure cleanliness of shipping/receiving areas; obtain DOT/IATA Certification within 90 days.
