Position:

Logistics Specialist I in Danvers, MA

Job Summary

The Logistics Specialist I will assist in multiple areas within the operations department, including performing Shipper/Receiver duties and Material Handler functions. Responsibilities include receiving and verifying incoming materials, preparing and shipping finished products, picking materials, and supporting operations as needed.

Responsibilities
  1. Receive, process, and deliver all non-stock purchases for internal employees.
  2. Receive, unpack, and warehouse incoming materials and supplies.
  3. Check in-coming goods against documentation and disposition.
  4. Sort and count materials, supplies, and finished goods as needed.
  5. Pick and pack materials for shipment.
  6. Prepare shipping documents for domestic customers.
  7. Perform kitting, labeling, or other duties prior to shipping products.
  8. Operate forklifts or other heavy equipment if required.
  9. Perform data entry using RF scanners and ERP systems.
  10. Support stockroom and finished goods assembly activities.
  11. Handle interplant deliveries using company vehicles.
  12. Maintain logistics areas.
Qualifications
  1. High School diploma or equivalent.
  2. Entry-level experience, ideally 1 year in shipping/receiving; medical device experience is a plus.
  3. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  4. Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  5. Basic math skills.
  6. Attention to quality, following SOPs and GMP.
  7. Proficiency with computer and ERP systems; SAP knowledge is a plus.
  8. Computer literacy; Microsoft Office skills preferred.
  9. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work under supervision.
Physical Demands

Frequent standing, sitting, climbing, and manual handling up to 50 lbs, with occasional lifting up to 70 lbs.
