Job summary

OSI Systems, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee day-to-day logistics for products we manufacture and services for domestic and foreign government contracts.

You will create schedules, track materials, maintain inventory, and coordinate shipments under the Program Manager's direction. The role requires experience in procurement and material distribution, and the ability to maintain records, reports, and compliance with government contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business preferred, or 5 years’ combination of related education and experience in managing and scheduling logistics
• Experience creating and maintaining schedules using Microsoft Project
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly, both orally and in writing
• Experience reading financial statements including operational costs reports and proficient with Excel/Word
• Selected candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Track line items with Production and generate inventory tracking reports
• Coordinate with local/federal representatives on logistics regulations and policy maintenance
• Monitor end user licenses and warranties; coordinate obsolescence management
• Prepare reports on transportation costs and assist with installation design packages
• Maintain records of government property and inventory control systems
• Coordinate and oversee all logistics activities following safety procedures
• Provide monthly reports and updates as applicable
• Perform billing and other reporting as required
