Job summary

3db Labs, Inc. is seeking an experienced Logistician to support government operations, focusing on logistics planning, lifecycle sustainment, and regulatory compliance (FAR/DFARS).

You will coordinate across programs to ensure efficient movement of materials and equipment, utilize DoD logistics systems, and track KPIs while partnering with procurement, operations, and finance teams to maintain compliance and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of government or defense logistics experience.
• FAR/DFARS familiarity and related policies.
• Proficiency with logistics databases and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage logistics activities in government contracts.
• Develop and maintain logistics documentation such as logistics support plans, acquisition logistics documentation, supply support plans, and maintenance planning.
• Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations and policies (e.g., DoD, DHS, GSA).
• Analyze and forecast supply needs, manage inventories, and coordinate procurement and distribution of materials.
• Utilize logistics management information systems (e.g., GCSS-Army, DLMS, FLIS, FEDLOG, PIEE/WAWF).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, operations, finance, and project management.
• Track and report on KPIs and recommend process improvements.
• Provide lifecycle logistics support including provisioning, spare parts analysis, and obsolescence management.
• Support audits, inspections, and data calls related to logistics operations.

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of federal logistics systems, procurement processes, and regulatory compliance (e.g., FAR/DFARS). This role will support the planning, implementation, and oversight of logistics operations across multiple programs or projects, ensuring efficient and compliant movement of materials, equipment, and personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage logistics activities in support of government contracts, programs, or agencies.
• Develop and maintain logistics documentation such as logistics support plans, acquisition logistics documentation, supply support plans, and maintenance planning.
• Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations, policies, and procedures (e.g., DoD, DHS, GSA, etc.).

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 3–5 years of logistics experience in a government or defense-related environment.
• Familiarity with federal acquisition regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other relevant policies.
• Proficiency in logistics databases, inventory systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a [Secret/Top Secret/etc.] security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) logistics systems or programs.
• Prior military logistics experience (e.g., MOS 92A, 88N, 92Y, or equivalent).
• Certification in logistics or supply chain (e.g., DAWIA Level I/II/III in Life Cycle Logistics, APICS, PMP, or similar).
• Familiarity with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Product Support Manager (PSM) roles.
