Job summary

Bosch Group in Anderson, SC, is seeking a Logistics Specialist focused on Make and Deliver planning. You will drive order management, production scheduling, and procurement planning to ensure on-time delivery of finished goods.

Key tasks include maintaining SAP-based customer orders and rolling forecasts, managing master production schedules, capacity, and supplier performance while leading CIP initiatives. Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years planning experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, business, supply chain, or finance.
• 3-5 years of experience in customer-, production-, and procurement planning.
• Experience working with SAP for order management and forecasting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish positive customer relationships and ensure on-time delivery of finished products.
• Confirm and monitor customer orders in SAP and maintain a rolling 21-month forecast.
• Create and maintain master production schedule and align with production; manage capacity.
• Plan raw materials to ensure availability of components for production and monitor supplier deliveries.
• Meet logistics targets (inventory, delivery performance, premium freight) and support CIP initiatives.

Customer Order Management

• Establish positive customer relationships and ensure on time delivery of finished products
• Confirm and monitor customer orders in SAP
• Maintain a rolling 21 month volume forecast in SAP
• Finished goods inventory monitoring and analysis
• Analyze customer demand behavior/customer waterfalls

Production Scheduling

• Create and maintain master production schedule and align with production
• Capacity management
• Support engineering changes, manage ramp-up and ramp-down of products to minimize excess & obsolete stock

Procurement Planning

• Planning of raw materials to ensure availability of components for production
• Responsible for order placement and verification of delivery with suppliers
• Raw material inventory monitoring and analysis
• Monitoring of supply base delivery performance (ie: on time delivery)
• Forecast planning towards suppliers
• Analyze changes in supplier releases/vendor waterfall

General

• Ensure logistics targets are met (ie: inventory, delivery performance, premium freight)
• Maintain SAP parameters for raw material and finished goods
• Lead and support Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) activities
