Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Specialist for the Day shift (9:00am - 5:30pm) in Windsor, CT. You will maintain accurate inventory counts, ensure QA processes, stage materials, and operate warehouse equipment using a warehouse management system.

Qualifications include 1 year in warehouse operations or inventory, a high school diploma or equivalent, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Flexibility for overtime is a plus as part of a busy distribution environment.

Inventory Specialist, Day shift: 9:00am - 5:30pm

The hourly pay rate for this is $23.00. GXO, in good faith, believes this is the pay rate for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted rate and this rate is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Windsor, CT. This rate may be modified in the future. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and other benefits to eligible employees. Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Maintain accurate inventory counts

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Availability to work a flexible schedule with possible overtime, as needed

It’d be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in warehouse operations and/or inventory
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift up to 30 lbs. frequently and greater than 50 lbs. occasionally
• Move materials weighing up to 500 lbs. using wheeled carts
