Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Miami is seeking a Manager, Inventory Control to lead the team, supervise inventory records, and ensure accuracy across all systems. You will analyze discrepancies, drive process improvements, and provide training to staff.

This role requires strong Microsoft Office skills, 4 years in inventory control, and flexibility for overtime. APICS/CSCMP certifications are a plus, and you’ll collaborate with management and customer representatives to optimize operations.

Qualifications

• 4 years of inventory control experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with computerized scanner equipment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends.

• Investigate all facets of facilities operations to troubleshoot processes and make/recommended improvements

What you’ll do on a typical day:

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• 4 years of inventory control experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with computerized scanner equipment
• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends

It’d be great if you also have:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• APICS or CSCMP certifications
• 5 years of inventory control experience including slotting and unit measures
• 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience
• Ability to quickly learn and achieve proficiency in new software applications
• Solid time management and multitasking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
• Self-motivated work style with excellent analytical and math skills
• Solid attention to detail and follow-up skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems
