JOB MISSION
As our Logistics Specialist, you will play a key part in supervising and coordinating all communication with our 3PL logistics partners and freight companies, ensuring seamless execution of logistics activities and contributing to the efficiency of our North American supply chain.
What You Will Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all logistics-related communication with 3PL partners and freight forwarders.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including container scheduling, freight quotations, tracking ETAs, and ensuring timely delivery and receipt of goods.
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels across 1,000+ active SKUs, ensuring accuracy and availability.
- Collaborate with the 3PL warehouse to manage work orders, ensure timely execution, and resolve any operational issues.
- Investigate and resolve logistics claims and discrepancies in coordination with 3PL and internal departments.
- Support intercompany order processing and ensure compliance with logistics and inventory guidelines.
- Analyze logistics data and generate reports to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the purchasing process by overseeing that logistics and inventory guidelines are followed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory documentation for internal reference.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing process enhancements.
- Participate in social and environmental initiatives to increase Davines' level of sustainability

WHO YOU ARE (Qualifications/Skills Required)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain coordination, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerBI; familiarity with other analytical or logistics tools is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Strong attention to detail is a must
- Strong verbal & written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and organization skills
- Legally authorized to work in the US

At Davines, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background, experience, skills and qualifications. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the annual base salary for this position to be in the range of $60-65K with a bonus and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience and location.
