Main Purpose of Job
This position provides administrative logistic support to the Administrative Operations Division. This position also handles a variety of complex administrative, analytical and technical assignments which require a working knowledge of the agency’s programs and the ability to exercise independent judgment, discretion and confidentiality.The position also supports the overall agency in mail processing, forms management, and fleet management.
POSITION DUTIES
Fleet Management: Act as primary Fleet Administrator for the agency, ensure all required documentation is completed for drivers, monitor Fleet Commander for all requests, track vehicles, inspect vehicles, complete reports, and provide staff with fleet related guidance. General Support to the agency: Retrieve mail and packages in accordance with agency guidelines, sort and distribute mail, and maintain security protocols for handling sensitive information. General support to the Operations Division: Prepare various logistical documents and inventory records, take team minutes for meetings as requested by Administrative Operations Management Team, conduct fiscal check audits, oversee various email accounts, and route inquiries as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. Experience:One year of administrative staff or professional work. Notes: 1. Candidates may substitute 30college credit hours from an accredited college or university forthe required experience. 2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer involving staff work that includedregular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting complex administrative plans, policies, rules or regulations or analysis of operational programs or procedures with recommendations for improvement on a year-for-year basis for the requiredexperience.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preference will be given to applicantswho possess the following preferred qualification(s).Include clear and specific information on your application regardingyour qualifications. One year of experience using Microsoft Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Google Sheets, or Smartsheet. Six months of Fleet Management experience. Six months of Logistics experience (i.e., warehousing, procurement, distribution, and asset management).
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland.
