About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, bilingual Logistics Specialist to manage cross-border freight operations and ensure timely, compliant shipments between the U.S. and Mexico. This is a key role within our 3PL operation, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and understands the complexity of international logistics.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM CST.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Border Crossing Management: Coordinate and monitor shipments moving between the U.S. and Mexico, ensuring customs compliance and minimizing delays.
  • Track and Trace: Maintain real-time visibility of in-transit freight and proactively communicate updates to internal teams and external customers.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve escalations, delays, or delivery exceptions quickly and professionally.
  • System Compliance: Ensure accurate data entry and documentation in transportation management systems in alignment with SOPs and regulations.
  • Deliver EPIC Customer Experiences: Build strong relationships with carriers, brokers, and internal teams through responsive and solution-focused communication.


Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in cross-border logistics, preferably in a 3PL or freight forwarding environment
  • Strong knowledge of U.S./Mexico customs procedures and documentation requirements
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
  • Proficiency with transportation/logistics software and Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering excellent service


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with brokers or customs agents
  • Prior work with high-volume LTL or FTL operations
  • Familiarity with key trade corridors and port of entry procedures
