Job summary

NorthStar Medical Radioisotopes seeks a Warehouse & Logistics Associate to coordinate shipping, receiving, inventory, and material movements to support production and customer requirements. The role ensures timely, accurate ERP data and maintains safety and compliance within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Second shift is Monday–Friday, 2pm–10:30pm, with a $5/hour premium for hours between 6pm and 6am. Beloit, Wisconsin site offers strong benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent with 2+ years in shipping/receiving/logistics.
  • Experience in regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Must complete hazardous materials and DOT training.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and process domestic and international shipments, including documentation and carrier coordination.
  • Enter inventory transactions, receipts, and shipments into the ERP system and maintain accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
  • Coordinate picking, packing, labeling, staging, and shipment of materials and finished goods.
  • Support receiving operations, including inspections, inventory verification, and inter-site movements.
  • Train employees on logistics procedures, safety, and SOPs; enforce safety requirements.

Position

Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Warehouse & Logistics, coordinates shipping, receiving, inventory, and logistics activities to support production and customer requirements. Ensures the timely and compliant movement of materials and finished goods while maintaining inventory accuracy, safety standards, and operational efficiency. Provides training and support to team members and serves as a key resource for daily logistics operations.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate shipping, receiving, inventory, and material movement activities to support production schedules and customer requirements.
  • Oversee and process domestic and international shipments, including preparation of shipping documentation and coordination with carriers and freight providers.
  • Enter inventory transactions, receipts, and shipment data into the ERP system and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting and inventory audits.
  • Coordinate the picking, packing, labeling, staging, and shipment of materials and finished goods.
  • Support receiving operations, including material inspections, inventory verification, and movement of materials between facilities and warehouse locations.
  • Train employees on logistics procedures, equipment operation, safety requirements, and standard operating procedures.
  • Enforce safety requirements and ensure compliance with applicable OSHA, DOT, GMP, and company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with resolving shipping discrepancies, inventory issues, and logistics-related operational challenges.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives designed to improve logistics performance, inventory control, and operational efficiency.
  • Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, as authorized and certified.
Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and a minimum of two (2) years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, or supply chain operations. Experience working within a regulated manufacturing environment preferred. Must successfully complete required hazardous materials and DOT training requirements.

Shift Information

Second shift hours are Monday - Friday 2pm –10:30pm. During this position’s training period (approximately 60 days), the ability to work an alternate shift at least once during the training period is required. Primary shift placement will occur upon completion of the training program. Additionally, this position supports production in a 24-hour manufacturing facility, Monday to Friday, occasional overtime and holidays required.

This position is eligible for an additional $5.00/hour shift premium for any hours worked between 6:00pm and 6:00am.

Working Conditions

This role may involve working in a controlled cleanroom environment, general office setting, or specific manufacturing areas. Conditions may include:

  • Exposure to varying temperatures, both indoors (heated/air-conditioned spaces) and outdoors
  • Noise levels range from quiet to loud, depending on the work area
  • Specific vision abilities, including near vision, visual acuity, and color discrimination

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required and may include:

  • Respirators, gloves, safety glasses, and full protective clothing
  • Compliance with cleanroom gowning protocols (e.g., removal of all jewelry, including piercings)
  • Prohibition of cosmetics, fragrances (perfume, aftershave), and nail products, including polish, artificial nails, or extensions

As a radiopharmaceutical manufacturing site, radiation may be present in the laboratory and production areas. Employees in this role may be required to:

  • Follow strict radiation safety procedures
  • Participate in dosimetry monitoring and bioassay testing as part of the company protocol
  • Inform leadership of any health conditions that may affect product integrity, by cleanroom standards
