As a **Logistics Specialist,** you will be responsible for supporting the implementation & improvement of Supply Chain processes and storage plans for Caterpillar Paving Products, Brooklyn Park Facility. **What to Expect:** As a **Logistics Specialist,** youwill support Inventory Control & Supply Chain Engineering activities related to production and New Product Introduction (NPI). In addition, it is expected that the candidate is aware of inventory management systems and can integrate this into their activities. **Pay Rate and Schedule:** The position includes a total extension wage of **$28.35 /hour** plus a comprehensive Day-One Benefit program. Our manufacturing facility is a clean environment with frequently changing temperatures that may require climbing on equipment, machines, ladders and various step stools to work at different heights. Operate material handling equipment (i.e. counterbalance, turret, reach truck, picker). This position may also require you to work in tight spaces, or in awkward positions. Exposure to magnets that may impact medical devices. You may also kneel, squat, and crawl on knees, work in awkward positions, including forward reach, lateral reach, squat, overhead reaching, twisting, and forward head and rotation of neck. You may also perform repetitive grasping, pushing, pulling, rotating, and will use fine motor skills. In this position you may operate overhead cranes, use fine motor skills to repetitively grasp, push, pull and rotate, and pull. Working in an environment where workers in some areas will use manual torque tools to torque requirements of at least 250 Newton meters. Limited exposure to welding fumes and noise levels of 85db or greater.
