  • Follow up on inbound shipment status, cut-offs with origin, document sharing, booking creation, shipment tracking, and arrival planning.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and logistics partners to support timely product availability.
  • Monitor customs release-related activities, including documentation follow-up, MVE process coordination, duty payment follow-up, and escalation of delays when applicable.

  • Support outbound partner governance, including KPI reviews, SLA monitoring, rate card reviews, issue escalation, and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate reverse logistics pickup visibility, waybill creation for return recollection when applicable, return track & trace, and missing return follow-up.
  • Ensure transportation execution aligns with customer, commercial, and operational requirements.
End-to-End Logistics Visibility and Control Tower Support
  • Act as the operational control point for logistics visibility across inbound, outbound, carrier, and partner flows.
  • Monitor operational dashboards, reports, and logistics KPIs to identify emerging risks before they impact customers or service levels.
  • Escalate logistics risks, shipment delays, missing PODs, service disruptions, customs delays, or carrier issues to the appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain logistics issue trackers, action logs, and follow-up visibility for open items and recurring service failures.
  • Coordinate with Customer Operations and Warehouse Operations when logistics issues affect order availability, customer delivery, billing, or inventory visibility.
Freight, Billing and Cost Control
  • Review and validate transportation invoices, freight charges, import costs, rate card application, accessorial charges, and service-related billing exceptions.
  • Support monthly billing audits and reconciliation for logistics partners, including inbound and outbound services.
  • Monitor freight spending, route performance, and transportation cost trends to identify cost improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with Finance, AR/Credit, and Operations to clarify cost discrepancies and support accurate expense recognition.
  • Support rate card reviews, negotiations, and cost optimization initiatives with logistics partners.
Security, Insurance and Claims Follow-Up
  • Coordinate logistics-related claims follow-up for damaged, lost, delayed, or missing shipments in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Follow up on security-related transportation incidents, route deviations, high-value shipment exceptions, and insurance documentation requirements.
  • Maintain visibility of open claims, required evidence, partner responses, and closure actions.
  • Escalate high-risk shipment incidents according to the agreed governance and escalation process.
Systems, Interfaces and Exception Coordination
  • Coordinate with IT, SAP, Customer Operations, 3PL, and logistics partners when system or interface issues affect logistics execution, shipment status, inventory movement, or delivery visibility.
  • Support troubleshooting of logistics-related interface issues, including shipment data, sales interface exceptions, billing errors, MIGO-related follow-up, and other operational data inconsistencies when applicable.
  • Participate in SAP/WMS/logistics testing, stabilization, and issue-resolution activities related to transportation and partner execution.
LATAM Logistics and Future Hub Readiness
  • Support rest-of-LATAM logistics monitoring and coordination as the regional operating model evolves.
  • Support future LATAM export / FTZ readiness activities, including process mapping, logistics requirements, documentation flow, and partner coordination.
  • Partner with Global Intercompany Logistics and regional stakeholders to support inventory flow, export planning, and logistics visibility across LATAM markets.
  • Provide operational insights to leadership to support future Mexico / LATAM scalability.
Functional Coordination and Governance
  • Provide functional guidance, priorities, and follow-up to Logistics Coordinator and supporting resources for logistics-related activities.
  • Coordinate day-to-day communication between logistics partners, Customer Operations, Warehouse Operations, IT/SAP, Finance/Credit, and Commercial stakeholders.
  • Support weekly/monthly operational reviews, partner governance meetings, SLA reviews, and continuous improvement discussions.
  • Identify recurring operational issues and recommend corrective actions, process improvements, or escalation paths.
