Job summary

RXO, a leading provider of transportation solutions, seeks a Logistics Specialist in Gainesville, GA. You will handle logistics support including order entry, routing and dispatching, and traffic coordination to keep loads moving efficiently across North America.

You will maintain customer profiles, update managers on problem loads, monitor pickups and deliveries, and communicate status to receivers. This role requires 1 year in logistics and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 1 year of logistics experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• General knowledge of the transportation industry.
• Experience writing routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders.
• Update account managers on problem loads and actions taken; update receivers and customers on load status.
• Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries; verify loads arrived on time and in good condition.

If you’re looking for a growth opportunity, join us at RXO.What your day-to-day will look like:Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tendersUpdate account managers on problem loads and what actions have been taken, update receivers and customers on status of loadsMonitor daily pick-ups and deliveries; verify that loads have arrived on time and in good conditionTake check calls from drivers, ensuring that loads will deliver on time; validate all load data prior to marking loads delivered, for accounting purposesInvestigate product overages, shortages, damages, and complete appropriate documentationSchedule and reschedule delivery appointments for all loads; accept or decline loads based on direction from account managersProvide detailed directions and instructions to properly route driversAt a minimum, you’ll need:1 year of logistics experienceIt’d be great if you also have:High school diploma or equivalentGeneral knowledge of the transportation industryExperience writing routine reports and correspondenceThe ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram formDoes this sound like you?
