Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a Solution Design Engineer to support proposals, renewals, and re-engineering for our customers. You will analyze data, draft concepts of operations, and design layouts for distribution centers.

You will work with business developers and program managers to prepare timely proposals, apply continuous improvement, and incorporate green initiatives where feasible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years Logistics & Distribution experience designing, implementing, or launching new facilities and solutions.
• Six Sigma and Lean certification a plus.
• Experience with AutoCAD, data analysis, process mapping tools, and WMS functionality.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for proposals, renewals and re-engineering activities.
• Develop concepts of operations, design layouts, and process improvements for distribution centers.
• Collaborate with BDs and Program Managers to schedule, prepare and submit proposals timely.
• Identify and implement operational improvements and green initiatives.
• Travel domestically 10-15% of the time.
