Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Shipping Administrative Clerk to support the shipping department in a manufacturing setting. You will ensure orders ship accurately and on time, aligned with company and customer requirements.

You will prepare bills of lading, packing slips, labels, and export paperwork, schedule shipments, verify details in ERP/WMS/TMS, and track shipments to resolve delays and issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of administrative, shipping, logistics, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP or shipping software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing slips, labels, and export paperwork.
• Schedule shipments with freight carriers, parcel services, and 3PL providers.
• Verify quantities, weights, dimensions, and destination details for accuracy.
• Enter and maintain shipping data in ERP, WMS, and TMS systems.
• Track shipments and resolve delays, discrepancies, and carrier issues.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, and customer service on schedules and delivery status.
• Maintain shipping records, generate reports, and support inventory counts and receiving as needed.
