Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Reading, PA is hiring a Full-time Shipment Creation Coordinator for a busy warehouse role. The position focuses on coordinating shipments and carrier contacts, with SAP and MS Outlook usage, in a fast-paced, safety-forward environment.

Weekly pay, on-the-job training, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and 401(k), and company stock discounts are offered. Overtime is required and a Monday–Friday schedule is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a warehouse clerk coordinating transportation, inventory, shipping/receiving and carriers.
• Ability to make quick, reliable decisions representing customer and Ryder.
• Strong written, organizational, and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of WMS systems preferred.
• Experience operating forklift equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs administrative tasks for area or shift.
• Maintains filing systems and documents per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
• Interacts with customers and contractors regarding shipment times, loads, and damage claims.
• Coordinates processing of export orders, fills export paperwork and labels.
• Processes returns in Warehouse Management System (WMS) and maintains paperwork.
• Pallet management, reconcile pallet counts and variances.
• Uses WMS to update area or shift metrics as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned; overtime as needed.
