Job summary

Allied Universal in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time Screening Compliance role at our logistics and distribution site. You will provide customer service to clients, visitors, and drivers while enforcing site procedures and safety policies.

You will screen employees and visitors, inspect packages, and respond to incidents with a calm, professional approach. Minimum requirements include at least 1 year of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• X-Ray screening experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and drivers by following site procedures and emergency responses.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries entering the site.
• Inspect packages, belongings, and vehicles as directed while maintaining professionalism.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document observations for appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
