Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time screening records position in Fort Worth, TX. You will provide client-facing security services, screen personnel and packages, and respond to incidents following site procedures.

The role requires a minimum of six months in security, high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screens. The schedule includes evening shifts and a steady workflow to maintain a secure environment.

Qualifications

• At least six months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years old for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering designated areas of the logistics and distribution location in accordance with site procedures.
• Inspect shipments, packages, and personal belongings as required by site policy, reporting prohibited items, irregularities, or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated work areas, loading zones, entrances, and the perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized access and identifying security-related concerns.
