Job summary

Allied Universal® is hiring for a full-time security position in a logistics and distribution setting. The role involves providing customer service, monitoring access, reporting incidents, patrolling premises, and assisting with deliveries and shipping/receiving activities.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service while following site-specific security procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies.
• Conduct regular patrols of warehouse areas and perimeters.
• Assist with monitoring deliveries and shipping/receiving activity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized personnel and visitors, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Assist with monitoring deliveries, trailers, and shipping/receiving activity in accordance with established site procedures.
