Qualifications

• Business related degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with databases and querying tools for analytics.
• Experience in utility billing systems is desirable.
• Strong communication across business units and disciplines.
• Knowledge of ACH, card payments, electronic bill payment platforms and gateways.
• Familiarity with NACHA rules and SOX/audit requirements.
• Proven problem solving and decision-making skills.
• 2-5 years in payment operations, banking, treasury, or accounts receivable systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between Billing personnel and other departments.
• Research and resolve billing issues and customer account problems.
• Lead improvements and efficiencies in billing processes.
• Monitor billing performance and compile reports on trends.
• Provide training and communicate system changes to billing staff.
• Complete quality assurance reviews of billing processes.
