Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking an entry-level Logistics Representative in Ocala, FL. You’ll gain hands-on experience across operations, sales and support within a 3PL brokerage, through an accelerated training and onboarding program that mentors you for a long-term logistics career.

You’ll learn freight brokerage fundamentals, carrier relations, load management and customer service while gaining exposure to technology platforms used in logistics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
• No prior logistics experience necessary; we provide full training.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking of English.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Learn core principles of freight brokerage, including carrier relations, load management and customer service.
• Support daily logistics operations such as load tracking, scheduling and problem-solving in real time.
• Partner with sales and carrier representatives to ensure efficient freight movement and customer experiences.
• Gain exposure to technology platforms and tools that drive logistics operations.
• Participate in a structured training program to build knowledge, confidence and skills.

Logistics Representative responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
