Job summary

IDEX is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join our team in Texas. The role supports manufacturing by ensuring accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of materials, and by processing transactions in ERP systems.

You will coordinate with internal departments and carriers to maintain on-time delivery while upholding safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate has at least one year in shipping/receiving or logistics, strong data-entry skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum one year of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics operations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and data-entry accuracy.
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal teams, vendors, and transportation providers.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documentation.
• Accurately process receiving transactions in ERP systems.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and storage locations; assist with cycle counts.
• Generate shipping documents including bills of lading and packing lists; coordinate outbound shipments.
• Support lean manufacturing and 5S; keep work areas organized and safe.
