Job summary

Grocery Outlet in Middletown Township, PA is seeking a Receiving Clerk to ensure efficient operation of the Receiving Department. You will handle data entry, process and file receiving documentation, and maintain accurate records under the RFC Operations Manager.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in shipping/logistics, forklift experience, strong Excel and communication skills, and a detail-oriented approach to reconcile PO quantities and coordinate with transportation.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in shipping and receiving or logistics
• Experience safely operating forklifts and pallet jacks
• Strong data entry and Excel skills
• Excellent customer service and clear communication
• Attention to detail and SOX compliance awareness

Responsibilities

• Monitor inbound and outbound deliveries.
• Inbound scheduling by Phone, Email or Online.
• Coordinate with Transportation to prepare work.
• Receiving BOLs from all delivery drivers, verify quantities against PO.
• Create and scan receiving documents daily.
• Record merchandise quantities per PO/spec.
• Log and track problems; liaise with involved parties.
• Reconcile purchase orders.
• Close and dispatch outbound loads.
• Input data into spreadsheets for incoming merchandise.
• Record shortages and discrepancies.
• Communicate Returns, Rejections, Credits via phone/email.
• Ensure friendly, efficient customer service.
