BBP is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to handle logistics, inventory accuracy, and carrier coordination in Baton Rouge, LA. You will ensure timely packaging, proper documentation, and quality control for outbound shipments.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with shipping processes and software is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and inventory systems.

Aufgaben

• Prepare shipping documents, packing slips, bills of lading, and labels.
• Ensure accurate and timely packaging of products for shipment.
• Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Record received items in the inventory system and reconcile with POs.
• Communicate discrepancies or damages to appropriate departments.
• Maintain organized warehouse storage and perform cycle counts.
• Assist in periodic physical inventory audits.
• Generate and maintain records of all shipments.
• File and organize shipping documentation for easy retrieval.
• Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Provide timely shipment status updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure products meet quality standards before shipping.
