Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental (QSHE) Manager for the Greenfield, Indiana distribution facility. You will implement and manage QSHE programs, conduct investigations, lead audits, and train staff to uphold high safety and quality standards across warehousing operations.

The role supports DEI initiatives and collaborates with leadership on safety and compliance. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 4+ years in QSHE in a warehouse setting,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field or experience
• 4+ years in Quality, Safety and Health, and Environmental in warehousing or distribution
• 2+ years using quality systems
• 1+ years of leadership or training experience
• 2 years in safety and security protocols
• Knowledge of ISO, Lean, OSHA standards and DOT

Responsibilities

• Be the subject matter expert for quality and safety matters
• Conduct investigations and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Coordinate and implement related standards and procedures
• Train staff and supervisors on accident/injury prevention and safety practices
• Support DEI programs and informed leadership decision making
• Monitor and advise on product quality matters
• Conduct audits to evaluate system effectiveness and identify improvements
• Assess and prevent health and safety hazards and implement corrective actions
• Track and validate supplier lists through supplier management tools

We are looking for a Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental (QSHE) Managers to handle the implementation, related systems, compliance, audits, and action outcomes for our distribution facility in Greenfield, Indiana. How you create impact

• Be the subject matter expert for quality and safety matters
• Conduct investigations and take the lead in root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Coordinate and implement related standards and procedures
• Train staff and supervisors on accident and injury prevention, product and process safety, and excellent work practices; provide associates with in-the-moment training when opportunities are noticed
• Support leadership and Human Resources to ensure DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) programs are embraced and valued
• Maintain employee awareness and compliance with QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health, & Environment)
• Monitor and advise on product quality matters
• Conduct audits to evaluate the effectiveness of systems and procedures; identify and assist with implementing improvements
• Assess and prevent health and safety hazards and implement proper corrective actions
• Track and validate approved suppliers list through our supplier management tools

What we would like you to bring

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 4+ years of experience in a position focusing on Quality, Safety and Health, and Environmental in a warehousing or distribution environment
• 2+ years’ experience using quality systems
• 1+ years or leadership or training experience
• 2 years experience in saftey and security protocols
• Strong knowledge of occupational health, safety, workplace hazards, and associated controls
• Knowledge of ISO, Lean, OSHA standards and DOT
