Job summary

The Kansas City District of the US Army Corps of Engineers seeks a logistics professional to analyze and improve the effectiveness of logistics programs and operations. You will resolve complex issues, provide assistance during peak workloads, and coordinate transportation, facilities, and supply programs to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications

Education and experience requirements described (Graduate education or Ph.D. sought).
Specialized experience in logistics support across transportation, facilities/services, supply and property programs.

Responsibilities

Analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness and efficiency of logistics programs and/or operations.
Resolves difficult issues and problems in the logistics program.
May advise/assist a District during peak workloads or employee absences.
Coordinates the transportation program for the District.
Coordinates the facilities and services programs within the Division HQ or Center.
Coordinates the supply program with the district to ensure appropriate levels of supplies.
