Job summary

Amentum is seeking a logistics support specialist to perform a range of logistics activities across planning, maintenance, supply, and related areas. The role involves handling analyses, preparing correspondence, and supporting the execution of logistics plans in a customer-focused setting.

The position may include supervising entry-level staff and travel as needed, with emphasis on accurate documentation and compliant procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Candidates should have at least 1 year of related experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze problems and determine logistics requirements with minimal supervision.
• Interface with customers to define task status and progress.
• Review reports, drawings and procedures and assist with tests and validations.
• Prepare routine correspondence, charts, spreadsheets and minutes.
• Assist with maintenance of logistics planning documents and policies.
• Support logistics element tasks and duties as assigned.
• May supervise and train entry-level personnel in technical aspects.
