Job summary

Honda is seeking a Logistics Strategy professional to optimize transportation design and routing for North American supplier parts delivery. You will lead cross-functional teams, analyze data, and drive cost and delivery efficiency improvements across multiple transportation modes.

The role requires 2+ years in logistics or supply chain with strong Power BI/SQL skills, and a proven ability to collaborate with 3PLs, carriers, and Honda internal customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, or Supply Chain or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ yrs. equivalent experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Honda Supply Chain flow and systems.
• Extensive knowledge of PPT and Excel for reporting and analysis.
• Data analytics & dashboard development (Power BI, SQL, etc.).
• Customer Service skillset to deal with Honda internal and external customers and problem resolution.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for design, planning, and utilization of transportation routing characteristics through mileage efficiency, inbound/outbound routing flow, cost reduction and efficiency gain improvements across all transportation modes.
• Lead continuous improvement activities through collaboration with 3PL providers, carriers, suppliers, and internal customers with data-driven root cause analysis.
• Develop and monitor carrier performance metrics and conduct meetings to implement improvement plans.
• Create and maintain detailed project plans with milestones and dependencies to meet cost and delivery targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams and 3PLs to drive continuous improvement and resolve operational challenges.
• Utilize data to investigate concerns and escalate as needed to ensure timely resolution.
