WACKER in Charleston, TN is seeking a Logistics Operator for the 2nd shift to manage warehouse operations, including loading/unloading with PIT equipment and moving materials according to customer needs.

Are you looking for a new challenge? For our location Charleston we are looking for a(n) Logistics Operator - 2nd shift.

This position reports to the Logistics Warehouse Supervisor at the Wacker Polysilicon plant located in Charleston, TN. The 2nd Shift Logistics Operator is responsible for operations within the warehouse and must be able to perform all duties required of warehouse operators, with and without multiple types of powered industrial trucks (PIT), gas and diesel equipment (including yard spotter, tipper trucks).

Job Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trucks with industrial powered equipment
• Picking and staging materials from all areas serviced by the Logistics department as required by the customer order
• Delivery and movement of materials to required locations within the Logistics area of responsibility
• Follow process instructions and safety procedures in all aspects of the job
• Maintain work area and other areas of the facility in order to achieve or exceed housekeeping and safety standards
• Interface with computers and scanners to monitor and operate processes, perform material movements, check inventory, and write maintenance requests
• Learn and follow company policies and procedures

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• CDL Class A preferred
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Interfacing with computer inventory management programs and scanner guns
• Willingness to follow company policies and procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Safe manufacturing experience

This position is scheduled Monday-Friday 2:30 PM-11:00 PM.
