Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Logistics Operations Support analyst to join our CONUS/OCONUS teams in Sterling, VA. The role supports Army systems with shipping, asset management, baselining, and data analysis to improve logistics performance.

The position requires an active TS clearance, a BA/BS in logistics or related field, and 3+ years of relevant experience. Occasional travel (up to 40%) is expected to support fielding, hardware maintenance, and inventory activities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track all shipments (incoming and outgoing).
  • Prepare equipment shipments with inventory, palletizing and packaging.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for shipments.
  • Coordinate with carriers to resolve issues or delays.
  • Manage asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal.
  • Maintain asset inventory records (location, condition, usage).
  • Audit asset accuracy and policy compliance.
  • Assist with warehouse management, system integration and inventory.
  • Serve as point of contact for order status and supply chain queries.
  • Collect and analyze logistics metrics for trends and improvements.
  • Prepare regular logistics performance reports for management.
  • Use data analytics tools to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Track and document failures and root causes; implement corrective actions.
  • Generate reports on failure trends and improvement initiatives.
  • Install and test system hardware on-site; assist with IPS lifecycle docs.
  • Support CONUS/OCONUS fielding, travel, and training events as needed.

Job description

The Opportunity

As a Logistics Operations Support analyst, you will be a member of an Operations Team supporting CONUS and OCONUS Army systems. This vital role is dedicated to ensuring efficient and effective support for logistics operations. The position encompasses a range of responsibilities, including shipping and receiving tasks, tracking, asset management, metric capture, analysis, reporting, failure tracking, and configuration management of system baselines for both hardware and software. Additionally, the role requires knowledge of the U.S. Army Supply and Logistics Support Program and familiarity with Product Support Management (PSM) military standards and practices. This position will require occasional travel in support of our fielded systems to aide with hardware management and inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for all shipments
  • Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to resolve any issues or delays
  • Manage the lifecycle of assets from procurement to disposal
  • Maintain accurate records of asset inventory, including location, condition, and usage
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure asset accuracy and compliance with company policies
  • Assist with all aspects of warehouse management, system integration, and inventory
  • Serve as the point of contact for order status to requestors and supply‑chain related queries to procurement and freight forwarders
  • Collect and analyze logistics metrics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement
  • Prepare regular reports on logistics performance for management review
  • Utilize data analytics tools to provide insights and recommendations
  • Track and document failures or issues related to logistics operations
  • Track and document root causes of failures and corrective actions
  • Generate reports on failure trends and improvement initiatives
  • Install and perform on-site testing of system hardware components
  • Complete or inspect build documentation for new system integrations
  • Assist with the development and publication of technical IPS life‑cycle documentation, in accordance with U.S. Army policies and procedures
  • Assist with Production Acceptance Testing (PAT)
  • CONUS &/or OCONUS Travel in support of system fielding and training events, hardware maintenance and inventory, as needed
Qualifications
  • Active TS clearance required, SCI eligible
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of related work experience in logistics, supply, and/or maintenance operations
  • Experience with asset management and configuration management
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles
  • Proficiency with Database Management and Inventory Operations

  • Ability to rack, wire, connect, install, and perform on-site testing of system hardware components
  • Occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 70 pounds
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, and crouch
  • Ability to support CONUS/OCONUS site surveys, PMCS, inventories, and/or installations (potential for up to 40% travel)
