Job summary

Xpress Global Systems (XGS) is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee dock, driver and warehousing activities at the Service Center. You will lead frontline teams, coordinate resources, and ensure safe, efficient freight handling in line with SOPs.

Responsibilities include supervising loading/unloading, planning shifts, dispatching drivers, maintaining OSHA and DOT compliance, and providing accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of LTL or warehouse experience.
• Cross Docking experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Dispatching experience preferred.
• AS400 experience preferred.
• Computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise loading and unloading of freight and staffing.
• Train and enforce dock loading procedures and safety.
• Plan shifts, assign jobs and coordinate driver routes.
• Interface with customers for will-call freight and tracking.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT and other regulations.
• Complete reports and loading/inspection sheets.
