Job summary

Grace, a leading global supplier of catalysts and specialty chemicals, invites applications for a Logistics Specialist in the Americas. Based in Columbia, MD, you will support OT R, rail, ocean, and warehouse operations, working with carriers and partners to improve delivery performance.

You will analyze data, develop reports, and monitor KPIs to drive cost efficiency and service quality. Occasional travel up to 10% will be required to coordinate with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Business, Logistics, or Engineering.
• 2+ years of distribution, logistics, transportation or warehouse operations experience OR
• Associate's degree with 4+ years in distribution, logistics, transportation or warehouse operations
• 4+ years of distribution, logistics, transportation or warehouse operations experience
• SAP or other ERP and Microsoft Office Suite experience with deep knowledge of Excel

Responsibilities

• Support OTR, rail, ocean, and drayage operations and warehouse operations to meet safety, service, quality and cost goals.
• Travel up to 10% domestically to meet with internal and external partners.
• Use data to drive business results and improve customer experience.
• Interact with carriers, TMS partners, warehouses, and stakeholders regarding delivery execution, quality, safety and cost.
• Track and analyze KPIs for the Grace distribution network.
• Utilize TMS, SAP and analytics tools to gather insights and identify improvements.
• Develop service and cost reports for transportation and warehouse performance.
• Support audits to ensure RCMS compliance.
• Collaborate with TMS provider, transportation and warehouse partners.
