Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Team Member in New York to help ensure product inbound, stocked, and shipped meet exact specifications for dimensions, quantity, packaging, UPCs, and descriptions.

You will audit daily for vendor compliance and advise on packaging/handling improvements to reduce damage and improve safety. The role requires flexibility to work across departments, physical capability for lifting, and a focus on timely processing of returns and logistics issues.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Demonstrated track record of good attendance.
Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
Basic computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
If internal, no written warnings within last 6 months or final warnings within last 12 months.

Responsibilities

Ensure product inbound, stocked, and shipped is accurate in terms of case dimensions, quantity, inner pack quantity, selling units, I2 of 5, UPC, description, and packaging.
Audit and inspect product daily to determine vendor compliance and recommend new packaging/handling requirements to improve safety and damage control.
Ensure all stock and non‑stock returns are completed accurately and timely and communicate all logistic issues to the General Office.
You may be required to work in other departments as needed.
Other duties are determined by the Manager on duty or the Planning Coach.
